Hello!

I’m Bethany Clarke.

I’m a copywriter and graphic artist. On a typical day, you’ll find me hunched over my computer typing away madly at my latest creative project, going for jogs in the woods, and dreaming up designs for new notecards.

I can help you tell the story of your business in an authentic and memorable way that doesn’t feel too sales-y and highlights the usefulness and joy of all you have to offer your community. I offer email and blog copy, custom logos, and hand-drawn elements for your website and social media platforms. I specialize in sustainable products, outdoors gear, and travel writing.

I’m based out of the old mill town that is Dover, New Hampshire where the first all-women’s strike went down in the textile factory on the Cocheco River. I serve clients throughout New Hampshire and northern MA.

I am a creative writer at heart. I love to tell stories about my life and love hearing and reading stories from other people’s lives as well. After spending three years pursuing my passion for writing in an MFA program at the University of New Hampshire and teaching introductory writing classes, I discovered that I loved using my storytelling skills to help others transform their own lives using the power of words. Choosing to go to school for writing wasn’t something many people thought would turn into a career. “It’ll be fun but you won’t be able to use it to get you a job,” became a common refrain. I was pet sitting and making notecards on the side, but I knew that there was a way to combine all my passions in a real live profitable business.

So here I am today, at your service and ready to take on any communications project, large or small.
